During lockdown (from March-July) sessions were run on Zoom. Recently the DCMS has confirmed “non-professional performing arts activity, including choirs, orchestras or drama groups can continue to rehearse or perform together where this is planned activity in line with the performing arts guidance…” For further reading, see Government Guidance 22nd Sept update, Section 3.18.

This means we ARE allowed to rehearse in a Covid-secure venue, socially distanced and no socialising or “mingling” must take place in groups of more than 6 – eg on arrival/departure. We have also elected to run rehearsals wearing masks, with ventilation in the room. Meeting time will be limited to a maximum of 1.5hours with no breaks.

We have carried out a Risk Assessment and also have a Disclaimer Agreement which you will have to sign in order to attend. You will be sent these before the first session.
If for any reason we are unable to continue in person, we will move to Zoom.
If you have any further questions, email us for further details.
